Northern Game Teal Flank Feathers are a superbly marked traditional feather for fly tying with strong black and white barring on the feather.
 
Mainly used as a winging feather on trout and salmon flies but can also be used as a hackle feather.
 
Famously used as a wing on the Peter Ross and Teal range of wet flies (Teal, Blue and Silver, Teal and Red, Teal and Black, etc.)
