Genuine bronze Mallard is, quite often, difficult to obtain and is now getting quite expensive to buy.
 
Northern Game Bronze Mallard Substitute is a good alternative to natural bronze Mallard.  This is done by dying the grey flank feathers off the Mallard a deep brown/bronze colour.
