Muskrat is a very soft fur with long guard hairs and is a very easy to dub fur.
 
The colour varies from dark brown (nearly black) in places along the back, fading out to the underbelly hair which is very pale.  The hair on the back is coarser (where the guard hair is) and becomes super soft on the belly fur.  The fur is used in many patterns including the Adams, the Casual Dress and the Muskrat Nymph. 
 
The skins are also suitable for bleaching and dying for some great dubbing in different colours.
These whole skins have enough fur to keep you going for a long time!
