Mole Skin is a wonderful fur to work with and very easy to dub.
 
The natural dark grey/blue fur is traditionally used on flies such as the Waterhen Bloa, Blue Dun and many North Country Spider patterns.
 
The fur can be dubbed very sparsely and is particularly effective over a yellow thread.  Alternatively it can be dubbed tightly creating fantastic bodies for dry flies and emergers.  Of course mole dubbing can also be mixed with other synthetic dubbings creating endless variations.
 
Only a small amount of fur is needed to create a great looking fly body, so a single mole skin should last a long time. 
 
Each skin is approximately 10 cm x 10cm
