English Grey Partridge provides many an important feather in the armoury of any fly tyer who likes to tye traditional North Country Spiders, wet flies and dry flies.
 
The coverts on these wings can be used for spider patterns, and the primary and secondary feathers make excellent wings in wet and dry patterns.  English Grey Partridge feathers feature distinctive markings throughout.
