Straight away you can see the shape of the hook differs from the standard wide wet giving it a great shape for emergers, spiders, classic wets and nymphs.
It's made from the same 1X heavy wire as it's older sibling, giving the hook that little extra weight and solid feel. Add to this the chemically sharpened barbless needle point, and a straight eye, and you have tremendous hook setting qualities.
